Erebus Radio is an online station built around an eclectic mix of music, spoken word and comedy. Here is how it started, and where it is heading.

I'm Robert Johnson, the manager and creator of Erebus. I grew up in 90s London on the Beatles, The Doors and much more.
During the 90s I got into electronic dance music, heard of drum and bass, loved it and got on board. I moved to Southampton for university, had a friend in the music industry, and started at a local radio station called Voice FM, which taught me the ins and outs of the industry. I spent 7 years there, 5 of them as a presenter, and after that had my own chilled beats show for 2 to 3 years.
At the same time I started DJing on internet radio stations, which come and go quickly. Towards the end of 2025 I thought I could launch my own station, so in early 2026 I started Erebus with a small team. The plan is to start small and grow from there, and now here we are.
